Gaps in nurse training on care of learning disability patients (USA)

May be not all yet know that:

"Non-specialist nurses need more training in caring for patients with learning disabilities in order to end the “scandal” of avoidable deaths, a charity has claimed in a new report, which also said two-thirds of health professionals wanted more training in the area."

I've been in downtown few hours ago and heard as two guys have spoken of this. So.. may be is important for people here.

Leading chief nurse recognised for ‘innovative approach’
2018-02-15 00:02:41,

I have just read this news about CNA. Not sure, but I think it may change some things around in Nursing Assitance. Short quote:

"Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust’s chief nurse, Mandie Sunderland, has been made an honorary professor at Nottingham Trent University for her “leading contribution” to nursing."

But not just seeing this makes me think... But I just trying to understand how this one is just like most important what happend around? At least most noticable? Isn't there nothing more important about CNA?
