Applicants to nursing courses fall for second year since bursary end (USA)

Sometimes then I scroll specialized news I see something like:

"The number of people from England applying to train as a nurse has fallen for a second year in a row, dropping by a further 13% compared with the same point in 2017, official figures have shown."

And once again the text itself isn't that important. Neither it gives some actual information on CNA inside life. But still - if you don't have better sources - even news like this are worth few seconds.

HEE should support trusts to fund CPD in line with priorities
2018-02-03 00:02:55,

In my day-to-day work as Certified Nursing Assistant I often to busy to notice what happens around me. So just sometimes I open news site and check through news. And this one is to be told about:

"A health minister has said that continuing professional development (CPD) funding is the “responsibility of employers”, but has also suggested the government arm’s-length body Health Education England should have a greater say on how ongoing training is prioritised."

I wonder if these can impact my job as Nursing Assistant. Can't find obvious relation. But... You never know!
